Chris Martin is an Associate Planner, having worked for Pegasus Planning Group in the Newcastle office since June 2019. Having worked in planning consultancy for the past 19 years, Chris has experience over a number of key sectors including residential, sports, leisure, retail, retirement, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Chris will present an overview of the recent changes to the NPPF with a focus on the implications of the new Standard Method for calculating Local Housing Need. He will also delve into how this may affect housing land supply, delivery, and the viability of residential development across the North East in the coming years.
