She is an experienced communications professional with a background in political engagement in the planning sphere. She has assisted developers in generating political support for planning applications across the UK on projects including housing, commercial property to renewable energy. 

 

Rebecca will present on the implications of the May 2025 election results, and how election cycles can influence planning approvals and committees. She will also cover the growing influence of independent councillors and smaller parties in decision-making and strategies for navigating political influences in planning decisions.
