About the event
Join us for a panel discussion on inclusion in transport planning, kindly hosted and sponsored by The University of Westminster.
Women, disabled and neurodivergent people, LGBTQ+ people, and older people are among those groups who face deep-rooted barriers to their experience of, and interaction with, transport systems and travel. Featuring MeiYee Man Oram (Global Accessibility and Inclusion Lead, Arup), Rachel Aldred (Active Travel Academy, University of Westminster) and Pippa Catterall (co-author of Queering Public Space), this panel discussion will look at how design and planning interventions can help to overcome these barriers.
